Jeffrey B. Snyder

Jeffrey B. Snyder leads the team at First Financial Associates, LLC. He is a Certified Financial Planner® and has completed the first two levels towards his CFA® Charter. Jeff holds Series 6, 26, 63, and 65 licenses through J.W. Cole Financial, is licensed to sell life insurance in CT and MA, and is certified by the CT Partnership for Long-Term Care. (CA Insurance Lic #0F14094).

Jeff attended Bates College in Lewiston, ME, graduating in 2000 with a B.A. in Economics. He remains an active supporter and alumni class agent for Bates Alumni Association.  He went on to graduate school at Boston University, where he graduated with honors in 2005 with a Master’s of Science in Investment Management.

Mr. Snyder began his professional career at American Skandia in Shelton, CT, where he was an internal wholesaler for two years. In 2002, he became a Registered Representative with FFP Securities, Inc., and joined First Financial Associates, LLC, taking over as lead advisor in 2013. 

Jeff is an avid philanthropist, committed to giving back to his community. In addition to fundraising efforts conducted on behalf of his alma mater, he is a champion for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and their Laura Strong Award winner for 2021.

An Eagle Scout, Mr. Snyder grew up in Glastonbury, CT, where he currently resides.
